1st November 2009
Club night will now be every fortnight in the bar.
Reminder all subs and outstanding debts to be paid at next meeting on the 10th November.
Presentation tickets will be available also. Cost for non riding members and friends is £18 or £9 for under 14's. We are expecting all riding members to be attending the presemtation which will be on the 21st January 2010.

Thanks to those members who put in a lot of effort for our meeting just gone (20th Sept)
Reminder about the working party tonight (Wednesday) to put away all the track equipment.
We expect all riding members to attend, except those with previous permission from the committee.
21 August
Thanks to all the members who attended the working party last night. And well done as we layed out nearly 1 mile of track - that's two miles of rope!
We just need to finish off with the double roping and put up some banners, etc. so can all members be there at 12 Noon on Saturday please. (unless previously excused by the commitee)

Kinver Auto's Danny Hill wins in Go-kart final
Daniel Hill beat off stiff competition to take the win in the final at Stourbridge's Full Throttle raceway tonight
Firm favourite - one handed Barry "Berry" Stone pulled out of the final after one lap. Write up and results posted soon (Aug 09)

The club meets tonight to discuss the location for this years annual presentation
Another Go-karting night arranged
Due the success of the previous outing, the club have organised another go-karting experience.
It will take place at Stourbridge raceway on the 17th July.
Members need to book and pay ASAP

URGENT - STOURBRIDGE @ RUSHWICK (14/06/09) CANCELLED
The Above event has bee cancelled at the request of the landowner.
Riders may use their tickets to enter ANY AMCA motocross event this Sunday, provided you call and pre-book with the relvant club secretary (Numbers Below).
It has been opened up to any event as our reserve groups have little room to accomodate everyone who wants to transfer.

Quiz'n'Chips night was a roaring success with members from clubs within the group attending. The food was great and we added a few pounds into the club coffers.
Thanks to the Social Secretaries for arranging it all. We look forward to the next social event.

AGM and Membership
It is hoped that the club will be able to take memberships after the AGM which will be held on Tuesday 20th January.
This will enable members to get their licence application forms to the AMCA in plenty of time. (The AMCA starts issuing 2009 licences on February 1st).

Working party - November 2008
The working party arranged for Saturday 8th November has been moved to the following Saturday (15th).
All members meet at Great Witley track at 10am please
We shall be moving all equipment to the new track.

New Track
BHMCC announce their new track at Great Witley, Worcestershire. More details to follow.
Brierley Hill Annual Presentation
Tickets are now on sale. £17.50 adults £9.00 under 14's. It will be on the 12th January at the Kingfisher.
Members are requested to attend club next week (13th Nov) as presentation tickets will be available as well as voting forms for rider of the year etc.
Committee members look at new track
Reports are promising, the only downside appears to be a sloping paddock. Oh well, can't have everything. More news as soon as I get it...
Well done to Josh Williams on helping the West Midlands group to 4th place in the AMCA Inter Group Championship Held at Shobdon on the 28th October 2007.
Skittles and Chips Night
Don't forget your raffle prize if you haven't bought it in already. Should be a good night with 80 members and friends attending.
Menith Wood Goodbye
Just to confirm the rumour - This will be the last year of motocross at Menith Wood.
Most of the local residents were behind us and those that were opposed to the motocross initially were willing to put up with us 3 times a year, but alas it all comes down to one individual threatening to take us to court over the use of the land. As a club we (or the land owner) cannot justify the £8,000 estimated court costs and so it was agreed to finish at Menith Wood after this season.
Working Party
This weekend (23rd June) at 10am. All riders to attend (unless pre-authorised by the comittee) at the track for the forthcoming meeting.
Medevent apologise for the cancellation of our last meeting. The following is an excerpt from their letter to us.
On behalf of Medevent Specialist Transport Ltd, I would like to apologise for the events of Sunday 13th May 2007.
These were circumstances beyond our control, and we did our best to remedy the situation by asking the driver of the broken-down ambulance to bring another vehicle from our base. Mark Rattigan. who was en route from Bristol in a 4x4 ambulance, when he broke down., requested AA assistance and was back en route by 11 15. Unfortunately, by this time you had decided to cancel the event.

The BHMCC held its AGM on Tuesday 16th January 2007
where a new committee were voted in for the 2007 season.
The club committee is working well together and there are 2 new faces on the comittee this year.

while Tim Alberts steps into replace John Hammond as results sec.
BHMCC thanks John and Steve and welcomes Dave Booton as their new Race Sec.
